Good news, but oil prices should be much lower.

As usual, crude oil goes down and gas prices go up for the Holiday. PRICE GOUGING.

It boggles my mind why oil prices can't remain at one price until a "significant event" happens. Sort of like the price of other consumable goods (food, medicine, TP or even your rent check...). OH that's right, it would put a lot of people out of work (speculators, investors, journalists, ....).

Yesterday I was hoping that it would fall and I'm glad to see that it did. But it still hasn't fallen enough. With the current shape our economy is in crude should be well below $70 a barrel now!!!!!

Once the holiday weekend is over we might even see the price at the pumps drop too.

It was down to just over $72 earlier in the day. How it got back to near $75 is ridiculous. I'm baffled that it's not below $70, given the extremely bearish fundamentals.

Hopefully, this will result in lower gasoline prices.

Oil continues to trade in a narrow band above $70/bbl. After Labor Day, we will see if oil and gasoline fall.
