traffic: eV can be beneficial. If China had eVs, they wouldn't have so much problems w/ particulates.

Even with subsidies to the manufacturer, and tax breaks to the purchaser, these electric cars are a bad investment.
For the consumer. And definitely for the country and the economy.
When will people wise up, and realize that "global warming" is nothing but a massive hoax to benefit savvy companies and political insiders, and to make sheepish eco-idealogues feel self-righteous?

Nissan are now correcting the mistake they made when they increased the price of the 2012 LEAF compared to the 2011. For a similar equipped model to the SL I bought 18 moths ago, the 2013 price is about the same as it was in 2011.
Given the lease deals available right now the actual MSRP is almost irrelevant for low mileage EV drivers.
The New S model is a stripped model, time will tell if buyers like it or not.

In a couple of years most of the new cars sold will be electric or hybrid.

They need to cut a whole lot more before I'd even consider one. Plus battery range is a huge factor in my books. My opinion, NO electric golf carts in my future any time soon.

The idea needs work! The price needs to come closer to gas powered vehicles, the use cycle and refueling cycle needs to get closer to gasoline vehicles.

Good on Nissan, if they can get the Leafs blowing out of the dealerships it could start a trend.

If he had timed this for March, near the end of Winter, I think it would really juice sales. In January, not so much.
